| Tomas
Chaffe, born in 1980, is a visual artist who lives and works in
Nottingham. Nominated for Pilot:3, 2007 and Beck's Futures, 2006; shown at Year06 Art Projects, London recent exhibitions he has participated in are: Out Of Place, Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham; Prizewinners, Surface Gallery, Nottingham; Your Life Is Now A Little Shorter, Guildhall, Derby; Ariston, New Street St. Birmingham, 2007 and Just For One Day, Kadist Art Foundation, Paris, 2006 curated by Adam Carr. Tomas also featured in Post Notes; ICA, London toured to Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis USA, 2005. As the co-founder of Via Vaudeville! with the artist Blue Firth, he has realised collaborative projects with other artists: May Event! and The Trent Valley, Nottingham and artist-in residence for Hinterland, Nottingham. Showing in Extreme Crafts, May 2007 at CAC, Vilnius, Lithuania. |
